Six Area Teams Highlight Week One Kansas Volleyball Association Rankings

KVA Week One – Rankings

The first full week of the 2021 high school volleyball season is in the books and with that the Kansas Volleyball Association has released the first set of regular season rankings featuring six area teams.

In Class 3A the Nemaha Central Thunder are up two spots to No. 5, while fellow Big 7 League opponent Hiawatha is into the rankings at No. 6 following a 4-0 start.

Just one local team is ranked this week in Class 2A as Jeff County North continues to hold serve at No. 5 with a 4-0 record.

In 1A-DI the Centralia Panthers are into the rankings at No. 9 following a second-place finish at the Wabaunsee Invitational and an 8-2 start overall.

The final two ranked teams come in 1A-DII as Hanover continues to hold the top overall spot while Linn has dropped two spots this week to No. 9.
