Local Cross Country Teams Compete at Rim Rock in Lawrence

Area Cross Country teams competed in Lawrence at Rim Rock on Saturday in one of the biggest meets in the state. 

We'll start with the girls as Sabetha and McLouth posted solid outings finishing ninth and tenth as a team. 

Sabetha's Mary Lukert finished seventh individually and Nina Hedden had the best finish for McLouth finishing in 12th place. 

GIRLS RESULTS 

In the boys event, Royal Valley put together a solid weekend as they finished in seventh place as a team. Hiawatha finished in 20th place while Holton and Sabetha finished in 21st and 23rd respectively. 

Notable individual places include Sabetha's Kalvin Evans who posted a top-20 finish in 17th place. Royal Valley's Antonio Greemore-Hopkins also finished inside the top-20 in 19th place.
