FULL RANKINGS FROM KPREPS

We're about at the halfway point of the regular season in high school football and the landscape is slowly starting to take on more meaning.

Plenty of local teams remain inside the rankings plus some moving up and making some big noise heading into week five.

In 8-Man Division One, Canton Galva remains in the top spot and they're followed by Madison, Little River, Wakeeny-Trego and Leoti-Wichita County. However, some local teams are getting some love in the consideration category with Clifton Clyde out of the TVL at 2-1 overall.

In 8-Man Division Two, Axtell makes the big jump to number one this week after their win over previous number one in Hanover last Friday night. Hanover drops just one spot to number two and they are followed by Victoria and Thunder Ridge. Frankfort holds true at number five and they will travel to Axtell this week in a monster match-up. That ball game will air live on 92.1 KMZA.

The Centralia Panthers stay at number five in Class 1A after their win over Valley Heights to improve to 3-1 overall. They've won three straight since the season opening loss to Rossville. Olpe, Smith Center, Inman and Sedgwick are the four teams in front of Centralia this week.

Speaking of Rossville, they remain number one in Class 2A and they're followed by Nemaha Central. The Thunder have been on a roll since they lost in week one and they'll look to continue that hot stretch against St. Marys this week.

Finally in Class 3A, the Holton Wildcats move up from number five to number four as they're still unbeaten after a big win over Sabetha last week. The Wildcats get Royal Valley this week.
