Jackson Heights Football Dominant Over Troy

In a dominant performance the Jackson Heights Cobras evened their district record at 2-2 with a 38-15 victory over Troy Friday night at home.

The Cobras led 20-7 at halftime thanks to a 75-yard pass from Jason Bosley to Grant Amon, a 2-yard run from Bosley and a 39-yard run by Wyatt Bacon.

Troy had negative yardage in the first half until an 11-play drive that ended with a 15-yard touchdown pass from Cam Anderson to Jerrit Norris to pull within two scores.

Jackson Heights put the game out of reach in the third quarter with two more rushing touchdowns from Bacon, while Bosley put the nail in the coffin with a 53-yard strike to Jude Williams.

Troy received a late touchdown on a pass from Anderson to Boden Benitz but finished with just 180 yards of total offense.

The Cobras had 414 total yards with Bacon running for 128 yards and three scores while Bosley threw for 197 yards and two scores including one to Amon who had 128 yards receiving.

The Trojans Cam Anderson threw for 193 yards on 20 completions with Norris collected 95 yards, but Troy racked up -10 rushing yards.

Jackson Heights (3-2) now gets set for a tough road game at Olpe while Troy (3-2) will have a must-win district game against Valley Heights.
