Holton Girls Golf Advances to Day Two at State Tournament

Katina Bartel and Lilly Kimberlin of the Holton girls golf team advanced to day two at the 4A State Tournament in Salina. 

Bartel shot a 91 and is in a tie for 7th while Kimberlin shot a 99 and is in a tie for 13th. 

Posted at the top was three 84's, three 85's and two 86's so there is a lot of opportunity for a lot of golfers on Tuesday. 

The top six teams advanced to day two  followed by the next 18 best individual scores out of the non-team qualifiers. 

Bartel and Kimberlin are in two of the first three groups to tee off on number 10 Tuesday morning. Kimberlin at 10:00 AM and Bartel follows at 10:10 AM.
