Centralia Bounces Back With Big Win Over Burlingame in Straight Sets
By Brandon Tadtman

The 3-seed Centralia Panthers volleyball team bounced back after an opening match loss to Spearville with a straight sets win over 7-seed Burlingame 25-10 and 25-16.

Panthers looked on another level than the Bearcats for the entirety of both sets. Centralia jumped out to an 8-3 lead early in the first set and never looked back.

They would push a 10-5 lead to a 14-7 lead in the second set and wouldn't look back at all cruising to the much needed victory.

The Panthers are now 36-6 overall and 1-1 in pool play and putting themselves in position to advance to Championship Saturday if they can knock off 2-seed Little River later this afternoon.

Scheduled start time is 1:30 but they're behind on time with a few matches so that start time could be closer to 2:30.

All matches broadcasted live on 92.1 KMZA.
