Centralia Advances to Championship Saturday at 1A-D1 State Volleyball Tourney
By Brandon Tadtman

The Centralia Panthers live to fight another day in their quest to hoist a 1A-D1 State Championship.

The Panthers had a rough start to pool play as they lost in three sets to Spearville.

Centralia bounced back in a huge way and picked up back to back straight set victories over both Burlingame and Little River to earn their spot in the semi-finals on Saturday in Dodge City.

Centralia (37-6) will face 1-seed Pretty Prairie (40-5) in the semi-finals on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 AM. The other semi-final will feature Spearville (35-7) taking on Victoria (31-6).

The winners will face off in the title game while the two losers will play for third place 25 minutes following the action of the semi-final matches.
