K-Preps Latest Football Rankings Heading Into the Regional Playoff Round
By Brandon Tadtman

K-Preps has released their latest football rankings as we head into the Regional round of the playoffs on Friday night across the state.

A few area teams still find themselves inside the rankings this week and we start with Axtell who is undefeated at 9-0 and remained #1 in 8-Man Division Two.

Thunder Ridge is also 9-0 and #2 behind the Eagles and will get Frankfort for the second time this year on Friday night.

Olpe remains #1 in Class 1A with no area teams inside the top five this week. Centralia had been #5 for a good portion of the season but dropped out after they lost at Wabaunsee in the regular season finale.

Rossville and Silver Lake remain #1 and #2 respectively in Class 2A. Nemaha Central is on the outside looking in when it comes to the top-5 this week and the Thunder would certainly jump into the rankings next week if they can upset #1 Rossville on Friday night.

Holton held serve at #4 this week in Class 3A. The Wildcats are 9-0 and coming off a 58-18 win over Santa Fe Trail in the first round game last week.

Also in Class 4A, Atchison at 8-1 overall is on the outside looking in when it comes to the top-5 this week. The Phoenix have Eudora at home on Friday night.
