Top 10 Moments of 2021: No. 10 - Covid-19 Continues to Affect Local Sports
By Brandon Tadtman

2021 has been a wild year from start to finish. We are blessed at Kanzaland Radio to cover some of the best athletes in the state.

We've tried our best to put together the Top 10 Moments of the 2021 year. We start things off today with a look at #10.

Covid-19 continues to affect the local sports scene as we're about to flip to the third calender year of Covid-19 taking its toll on local communitites.

Throughout the course of the year, limited fans were allowed at events including for the early portions of the year with basketball.

Spring time improved and we got back to fans in the fall of this year with the football and volleyball seasons and that has continued to the end of the year, getting back to what we’re used to seeing in the latter portion of the 2021 year.

Hoping that 2022 will bring more events and less interuptions as we can only hope that Covid-19 slows up so that all the local athletes can compete at the highest levels with no issues this coming year.
