Final Rankings of the 21-22 Season Released by the KBCA

The final rankings of the 2021-2022 season have been released by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association. 

In the girls rankings, Hiawatha will close the season ranked 10th in Class 3A.

Valley Heights and Jackson Heights are fourth and fifth respectively in Class 2A. 

Centralia is looking to close out an undefeated season Tuesday night at Axtell and the Panthers will end the season ranked second in Class 1A-I. 

Hanover is ranked fifth in Class 1A-II while Linn will close the season ranked ninth. 

In the boys rankings, Big 7 League Champs Royal Valley will end the season ranked third in Class 3A while Nemaha Central is in a tie for seventh with Wichita Collegiate. 

Valley Falls, champs of the NEKL, hold true at third in Class 2A behind Hillsboro and St. Mary's as the Dragons are looking to finish the regular season undefeated.  

Clifton Clyde is ranked tenth in Class 1A-I while defending State Champs in Hanover will close the season as the top ranked team in Class 1A-II. 

Class 1A Sub-State matchups begin later this week while the rest of the classifications will begin Sub-State play next week.
