Nemaha Central Boys Golf Wins Washington County Invitational

The Nemaha Central boys golf team captured first place at the Washington County Invitational on Tuesday afternoon with a team score of 366. 

The Thunder tallied three in the top five and four in the top 10. 

Isaac Lueger and Aidan Broxterman tied for third with rounds of 88 while Carter Lutz finished in fifth place with a 92. 

Ian Ganstrom finished in a tie for eighth with a round of 98. 

Centralia finished in second place with a team score of 396. There top performer was Paxton Bowers who fired a 94 which was good for seventh place. 

Drew Gibbs finished in a tie for eighth with a 98. 

Washington County finished third with a score of 399 and was led by the individual champion Konner Gepner who shot an 84. 

Carson Kearn also posted a top 10 finish as he finished in a tie for fifth place with a 92. 

Frankfort also took part in the event and were led by Joey Hardwick who finished in second place with a score 86 while Grady Fox finished in a tie for eighth with a 98.
