Blaire Wehling

Centralia sophomore Blaire Wehling surpassed 100 career strikeouts inside the circle last week in the Panthers season opener against McLouth. 

She surpassed that mark in 93 innings pitched and is ready for a breakout campaign this season. 

Last season as a freshman, Blaire finished with an outstanding 1.83 ERA with 93 strikeouts helping the Panthers to a 17-7 record. 

She was also very good on offense last season finishing with a .382 batting average with 21 hits including five home runs and 26 RBI's. 

The Panthers are off to a 5-1 start this season and picked up two impressive wins to open this week on the road at Wabaunsee.
