Atchison County junior Elijah Webb stands alone atop the 190-pound weight class in 3-2-1A.

Webb captured the state championship this past weekend out in Hays defeating Silver Lake’s Paxton Willett in the title match via a 9-8 decision.

In his three matches prior to the title match, Elijah won by pinfall in the second period, majority decision, and 6-4 decision.

His 40^th win of the season was in the title match and has only improved since his freshman season – he’s a 3x state medalist taking sixth his freshman season at 175, 4^th last year as a sophomore at 190, and this season standing alone up top the 190 class as the 3-2-1A State Champion.
